Its been happening all week long, but yesterday, we finally had a big enough eruption, and the wind was just right, and we got ashed on last night. We live up in Wasilla, so you can see on the map, how far away we are from the volcano. Apparently, we're supposed to have another month of being on volcano alert. To give you a little idea, about 15 years ago, when we first moved up here, Mt. Spur erupted one summer, and we got about 1/2" to 1" of ash that fell on us in Anchorage.
